Orders & Production
How long does it take to make my order?
Since all Lunarness products are made-to-order, production typically takes 3-7 business days depending on the complexity of the piece and current order volume. You'll receive a confirmation email when your item enters production and another when it ships.
Why are your products made-to-order?
We craft each piece to your specific measurements because we believe alternative fashion should fit perfectly. Mass-produced harnesses use generic sizing that doesn't work for everyone. Our made-to-order approach ensures your piece fits your body exactly as intended, with no compromises on quality or fit.
Can I customize my order?
Yes! Since we make each piece individually, we can accommodate many customization requests. This includes hardware color changes (silver or black), strap length adjustments, or specific sizing modifications. Contact us before ordering to discuss your customization needs.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
Because production begins shortly after ordering, cancellations and modifications must be requested within 24 hours of placing your order. After 24 hours, your piece may already be in production and changes won't be possible. Contact us immediately if you need to make changes.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship to?
We ship worldwide to 21+ countries including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and many more. Shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout based on your location.
How long does shipping take?
After your order is crafted (3-7 business days), shipping times are:
- United States: 7-14 business days
- Europe: 5-10 business days
- Canada/Australia: 10-18 business days
- Rest of World: 10-21 business days
Total delivery time = Production time + Shipping time
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping on orders over $50 to most countries. Orders under $50 have calculated shipping rates based on destination and package weight.
Is shipping discreet?
Yes, absolutely. All orders ship in plain, unmarked packaging with no indication of contents. The sender name appears as a generic business name. Your privacy is always respected.
Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, which are determined by your country's regulations and are the responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not included in our prices or shipping costs. We recommend checking your local customs policies before ordering.
Sizing & Fit
How do I know what size to order?
Each product page includes a detailed size guide with measuring instructions. For most harnesses, you'll need your chest/bust, waist, and sometimes hip measurements. Use a soft measuring tape and measure snugly but not tight. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up—you can always adjust straps tighter.
What if I'm between sizes?
If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up. Our harnesses feature adjustable straps that allow you to tighten for a snug fit. It's easier to tighten a slightly larger piece than to make a too-small piece fit comfortably.
Do you offer plus sizes?
Yes! Most of our harnesses are available in sizes XS through 3XL, and because each piece is made-to-order, we can accommodate custom measurements outside standard sizing. Contact us with your measurements if you don't see your size listed—we're happy to create a piece that fits you perfectly.
Are the harnesses adjustable?
Yes, most of our leather harnesses feature multiple adjustment points using buckles, snaps, or slide adjusters. This allows you to fine-tune the fit even after receiving your piece. The amount of adjustability varies by design—check the product description for specific details.
Materials & Care
What materials do you use?
We use first-class genuine leather and premium vegan leather alternatives, both selected for durability and skin comfort. Our signature soft-touch interior lining won't irritate your skin even during extended wear. All metal hardware is rust-resistant stainless steel or zinc alloy in silver or black finishes.
Do you offer vegan leather options?
Yes! Many of our products are available in high-quality vegan leather that looks and feels similar to genuine leather but is cruelty-free. Vegan options are noted on individual product pages. If you don't see a vegan option listed, contact us—we may be able to create it for you.
How do I care for leather harnesses?
To maintain your leather harness:
- Wipe with a slightly damp cloth after each wear
- Condition genuine leather every 2-3 months with leather conditioner
- Store flat or hanging—avoid folding which causes creases
- Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources
- Allow to dry naturally if it gets wet
Vegan leather requires less maintenance—simply wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Will the leather soften over time?
Yes, genuine leather naturally softens and molds to your body with wear, becoming more comfortable over time. This is one of the benefits of quality leather—it develops a unique patina and fit that's distinctly yours. Vegan leather maintains a more consistent texture throughout its life.
Returns & Issues
What is your return policy?
Because each piece is custom-made to your measurements, we cannot accept returns for change of mind or incorrect sizing provided by the customer. However, we accept returns within 30 days for:
- Manufacturing defects
- Items damaged during shipping
- Incorrect items sent
Contact us with photos of the issue and we'll make it right.
What if my item arrives damaged?
We carefully inspect and package every order, but shipping damage occasionally occurs. If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage and packaging. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
What if the fit isn't right?
If your piece doesn't fit as expected despite correct measurements, contact us. We may be able to suggest adjustment solutions. For significant fit issues, we can discuss options for alterations or creating a replacement at a reduced cost. We want you to love your piece!
Payment & Security
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. Our store uses SSL encryption and is PCI-DSS compliant. We never store your complete credit card information on our servers. All payments are processed by secure third-party payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal).
How will the charge appear on my statement?
Charges will appear as "LUNARNESS" or "LNR*LUNARNESS" on your bank or credit card statement. We use discreet billing descriptors that don't reveal product details.
